K. O. Industries

Our shop is located at No. 3G/198 N. I. T. It’s a pretty standard industrial unit. We don’t have any fancy signs or anything. The walls are just plain brick and concrete. We’ve been working out of this space in N. I. T. for a good number of years now. It gets quite noisy during the day because of all the machines we have running. K. O. Industries isn’t a very big operation. It’s just a few of us here doing the work. We handle a lot of metal and the floors always have some oil on them. We try to keep it clean but it’s a constant battle. The air smells like grease and cold steel. In the mornings, we open up the big metal shutters. The light comes in and hits all the dust. We start with a cup of tea while we look at the list of things to do. The area is full of other businesses just like ours. You can hear the sounds of welding and cutting from next door. It’s a busy place. We don't have a lot of visitors. Mostly just the delivery guys. They know where we are at 3G/198. We spend our time making sure everything is made right. If something looks wrong, we have to start over. It takes as long as it takes. By the end of the day, we are usually covered in grime. We wash up and head home. The walk to the bus stop is short. N. I. T. is a good area for this kind of thing.
