Jslamps

Jslamps is located at 9/32, right across from the Punjab National Bank in Old Faridabad. It’s an old part of the city, and the streets can be quite narrow and busy. Our shop is full of all sorts of lighting fixtures. If you walk in, you have to be careful not to bump into anything hanging from the ceiling. It’s bright inside, obviously, but the back room where we do the repairs and assembly is a bit more cluttered. We’ve got wires, bulbs, and tools scattered across the workbenches. My father started this kind of work, and I just kept it going. We don't spend money on fancy displays. We just put the lamps out where people can see them. Sometimes the old wiring in this building acts up, but we know how to fix it. It’s a small team here, mostly family and a couple of helpers who have been with us forever. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. People from the neighborhood stop by when their home lights flicker or when they’re building a new room. We don't have a website that works very well, so most of our business comes from people just walking past the bank and seeing us. It’s a steady life, surrounded by glass and copper, and we enjoy the routine of the shop.
