Driving down the G.T. Road in Hodal, you’ll find our place in Adarsh Colony, right in Ward Number 8. We are pretty close to Vishnu Ki Kothi, which is a landmark most people around here know well. It makes it easier for people to find us without getting lost in the backstreets. We are technically in the Palwal district, though the connection to Faridabad is always part of our daily talk. The office is very basic, just like the rest of the neighborhood around us. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our records and chat with the guys who come in from the work sites. It can get pretty noisy with all the trucks and cars zooming by on the G.T. Road, but you sort of stop noticing it after a while. We don’t have polished floors or fancy furniture. It is just a simple place to sit down, have some water, and get through the mountains of paperwork. The walls could probably use some new paint, but the current look works for us. People from the colony walk by all day, and we usually keep the door open to get a little bit of a breeze. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We focus on the tasks we have, whether it’s checking a delivery or talking to a mechanic. It is just a regular day-to-day operation in a regular part of town.
