We are out in Gandala village, in the Behror tehsil of Alwar district, Rajasthan. It’s a rural setting, which is quite a change from the big cities. Jbm Industries has a presence here to be close to the local resources and the people in this part of Rajasthan. The office is simple, just like the village itself. We deal with industrial matters but in a way that fits the local environment. It’s dusty and hot for a lot of the year, but we are used to the climate and the dry air. Most of our staff comes from the nearby areas and villages. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles here. It’s more about getting the job done and making sure things are moving according to the schedule we have set. The road to Gandala is okay, but it can be a bit of a bumpy drive if you’re coming from the main highway. We spend our days managing the site and talking to the local workers about the tasks for the week. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. There aren't many distractions out here in the countryside, so we can just focus on the industry work. We have a small yard and a basic building where we keep our equipment and files. It’s a no-nonsense operation, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It is quiet here after the sun goes down.
