Jayem Auto Industries Private Limited is located out at No. 17/6 Mile Stone on Mathura Road. It’s a loud area with all the trucks and cars zooming by constantly. We have a factory setup here where we deal with all kinds of auto parts and machinery. It’s definitely not a clean environment. There is always the smell of oil and the sound of metal hitting metal. We started off with just a few machines and slowly added more as the years went by. Most of us spend our entire shift on the floor. We don't have any fancy offices or air-conditioned break rooms. It’s a practical place for people who don't mind getting their hands dirty. My father used to work in a shop just like this, and now we run our own. The commute on Mathura Road can be a real headache in the morning, so we all try to get here early. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know how to fix the old machines when they act up. We don't spend money on advertising or big signs. People in the industry know where the 17/6 Mile Stone is. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just move the parts out of the way. It’s just how things are at a real workshop. We keep busy and get the orders out. It’s honest work and we take it as it comes.
