Janta Seva Yojana Foundation

Our foundation operates out of Shop Number 15 in the 1B-6A block of the NIT area. Being in a shop means we are right on the street level where everything is happening. It’s a busy, noisy part of town, but that’s exactly why we like it. People can just drop in while they are out doing their shopping. We started Janta Seva Yojana to provide a bit of help to anyone who needs it. The shop is pretty small, and it’s usually packed with files, old chairs, and a few people talking at once. It’s not a polished environment at all. The floor is a bit worn out, and the walls have seen better days. But it’s a place where things get done. We spend a lot of time helping people with their forms or just listening to their problems. Most of us have been in this part of Faridabad for a long time. We know the shopkeepers next door and the families who walk by every day. We don’t have a big budget or a fancy board of directors. We’re just a small group of folks who want to be useful. It’s often loud and a bit chaotic, but it feels right. We just take each day as it comes and try to help the next person who walks through the door. It is honest work for our local community.
