J. S. Chemical Industries

At 19A, Sanjay Colony, Sector 22, you will find J. S. Chemical Industries. We have a decent-sized unit here where we handle various chemical compounds and mixtures. It is an industrial area, so the surroundings are mostly other factories and warehouses. The floor in our facility is stained from years of work, and there is always a faint chemical scent in the air that never really goes away. We wear heavy boots and aprons because things can get messy when we are pouring or mixing. The drums are heavy, and moving them around is a workout in itself. We have a small office at the front that is mostly for keeping the logs and safety records. It is usually quite hot inside, especially when the machines are running full tilt. We have a few large fans that move the air around, but they don't do much in the peak of summer. We are a small group of workers who have known each other for years, so we have a good rhythm going. Sanjay Colony is a busy place, with trucks coming in and out all day long. We don't have any flashy signage, just the address and the name on the gate. It is hard work, and by the time we leave in the evening, we are usually pretty tired.
