J & K Engg. Works

We are located at 122 in Bhoor Colony, which is right near the Adarsh Bal Vidya Kendra School. You can usually hear the kids playing during their break time while we are in here working with the metal. J & K Engg. Works is a pretty straightforward shop. We’ve got the welding machines, the lathes, and all the various tools scattered across the workbenches. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when we have a large project taking up the middle of the floor. The floor is concrete and always has a bit of metal shavings or oil on it, no matter how much we sweep. Being in a colony like this, we know most of the neighbors, and people often stop by just to see what we are building or to ask for a quick fix on something broken. It’s not a corporate factory; it’s just our workshop where we get our hands dirty every day. The morning starts with a cup of tea and a look at the sketches for the day’s tasks. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just part of working in this area. We take pride in just getting the job done right without a lot of fuss. It’s noisy and dusty, but it’s our space, and we’ve been here at this address for quite a while now, just doing the engineering work that comes our way.
