J A V Forgings Pvt Ltd is right here in Sector 6. If you are anywhere near our block, you can probably hear us before you see us. Forging involves a lot of hammering and heavy pressure, so it is a noisy business to be in. The shop floor is where everything happens. We have the big hammers and the heating units lined up. It gets quite hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going at full blast. It is not a place for someone who likes peace and quiet. We have a small office area but most of us are out where the metal is. Sector 6 is a good spot for us because of the logistics, even if the roads get a bit bumpy with the heavy trucks. We do not spend money on fancy decorations. The walls are just brick and the floor is thick steel plate in some areas to handle the weight. We have had the same crew for a while now. We know the rhythm of the machines. Every day is pretty much the same routine of heating, striking, and cooling. We do not use any complicated software for our daily tasks. It is more about the physical work and knowing how the metal behaves under the hammer. We just keep our heads down and get the forgings ready. It is a tough job but someone has to do it. The noise is just something you get used to after a few weeks working here.
