India Yamaha Motors is located at G 144 Sgm Nagar on the Kc Badkhal Road in Faridabad. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of all the traffic moving towards the main road. The place smells like engine oil and rubber most of the time, which is just how it is when you’re dealing with bikes. We have a front area where people come to look at the different models, and then a back area where all the real work happens. It’s pretty noisy with the sound of tools and engines being tested throughout the day. The floor is concrete and usually has a few stains here and there that won't come out. We don't have a fancy waiting lounge with leather chairs. Usually, customers just stand around and chat while we look at their machines. The heat in Faridabad can be pretty brutal in May, so we have a few big pedestal fans blowing all the time. Our team is just a bunch of guys who know their way around an engine. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated explanations. We just tell you what’s wrong and try to fix it. It’s a long day, usually starting early and finishing well after dark. We’ve been at this G 144 location for a while, and the locals know us by now. It’s just a straightforward business, no frills. We usually have the radio playing music to keep things lively.
