Hrp Sewa Foundation

Hrp Sewa Foundation is located at 1/599 in Gopi Colony. This is in the Old Faridabad area, which is a bit different from the newer parts of the city. It’s more crowded and people live closer together here. We’ve been at this address for a while and the foundation is basically our way of looking out for the people in the colony. The word "sewa" is just about helping out, and that’s all we really do—we try to be useful to the people around us. Whether it’s helping a kid get some books for school or helping an old man get to his doctor’s appointment, we just step in where we can. The house is always open, and there’s usually someone sitting on the steps talking about what’s happening in the neighborhood. We don't have a lot of funding, so we just pool our own money and ask friends to help out when there’s a specific need. It’s very informal and not at all like those big groups you see on TV. We don't have a logo or a list of goals pinned to the wall. We just have a list of people who might need a hand this week. Old FBD has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of it. We don't want to be a big charity, we just want to be reliable for our neighbors. It’s practical work that needs doing every single day.
