Home Care Appliance

You can find us over at Plot No. 29 in the Sanjay Memorial Industrial Estate. We are pretty close to the YMCA, so that is usually the best landmark to use if you are trying to find the turn-off. The industrial estate is always humming with the sound of machinery and people moving stuff around. Inside our shop, there is usually a fridge or a washing machine pulled apart on the floor. We deal with all sorts of home appliances that have stopped working for one reason or another. It’s a lot of grease and metal work, so our hands are rarely clean by lunch. The walls are lined with shelves full of old motors, heating elements, and random knobs we’ve saved over the years. You never know when a specific part for an older model might come in handy. It’s a practical space, meant for fixing things rather than looking pretty. We have a small table where we sit and have our lunch, usually talking about how machines aren’t built like they used to be. The lighting isn’t the brightest, but we have those handheld lamps to see into the back of the machines. It’s just what we do every day here at Home Care Appliance. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighbors in the other units are all good people. We just keep busy with the repairs and try to stay on top of the work as it comes.
