Gurudatt General Store

You can find Gurudatt General Store in Ghadhi Mohalla, over in Sector 18 of Faridabad. This is a very local neighborhood, and our shop is right in the middle of it. We don’t have a fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s just a traditional general store where we keep a bit of everything. Life in Faridabad can be quite busy, but in our mohalla, things feel a bit more familiar. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their names. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming here on their own. Our daily routine involves waking up early to get everything ready before the first customer arrives. There is always a bit of dust to wipe off and bags to move around. We don't have a big team or a corporate structure. It is mostly a family-run thing where everyone chips in. Sometimes the stock takes up too much space and it’s hard to move around, but we find a way. We don't spend money on advertising; word of mouth in Sector 18 is how people find out about us. We just try to be fair and keep the items people use in their kitchens and homes. It’s hard work, and the hours are long, but being part of the neighborhood makes it worth it. We are just a small shop trying to do things the right way every day.
