Guru Nanak Foundry

We’re located at 17-A in the Nit Industrial Area. It’s a good spot for a foundry because the neighbors are all doing similar industrial work, so the noise doesn't bother anyone. We spend our days melting metal and casting it into different shapes. It’s a hot and dirty job, honestly. You can't really keep a foundry clean, no matter how hard you try. There's always sand and dust everywhere from the molds. We’ve been in this specific unit for quite a few years now. The crew we have knows the equipment well. We don’t use a lot of high-tech gadgets; it’s mostly just the traditional way of doing things. We take the scrap, heat it up, and pour it. It’s simple but it takes a lot of physical effort. The industrial area can be a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around, but we’re right there at 17-A. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. Most people find out about us just by being in the same industry or living nearby. We just aim to get the castings done so the customers can take them and do whatever they need to do. It’s a basic business, and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. Just a local foundry doing its thing.
