Get Gorgeous

We are tucked away in the basement of the main shopping complex in Sector 17, Faridabad. It’s shop number 34 in the Huda Market. Being in a basement means you have to walk down some steep stairs to get to us. The lighting down here is all artificial, so we have to make sure the bulbs are always bright enough or it gets a bit gloomy. The market is a busy place, and parking can be a real headache, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. Our shop is small and a bit narrow. Mirrors line up on one wall and there is some shelving on the other for all our supplies. The paint is a light blue, but it looks a bit different under the fluorescent lights. We keep a small fan going because it can get a bit stuffy being underground. It’s a humble little spot, but it works for us. Most of our regulars are people who have been coming to the market for years. We hear the muffled sound of cars and people talking from the street above. It’s a bit like being in our own little world down here. We don't have any big slogans or fancy displays. It's just a basement shop where we show up every day and do what we know how to do. It’s a bit of a climb back up the stairs, but we’re used to it by now. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle to find the door among all the signs.
