G. D. C. Industries

Our place is tucked away in Jawahar Colony. It’s Block B, right in the middle of everything. If you know the N.I.T. area, you know it’s always crowded and there’s always something happening. We’ve been at 726 for a while now. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it works for what we do. G. D. C. Industries isn't some high-tech startup. We are just a group of people making things. In the mornings, you can hear the shutters going up all along the street. It’s noisy, sure, but you get used to it. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the vibration from the machines, but we try to keep it down. Dealing with the M. C. F. paperwork is always a headache, but that’s just part of being a business owner here. We have a few guys who have worked with us since the beginning. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably find someone covered in oil or carrying a box of parts. We eat our lunch together in the back room. The light isn't great in there, but the food is good. Life in Jawahar Colony moves fast, and we just try to keep up with our daily tasks. It’s hard work, and by the time evening rolls around, everyone is ready to head home.
