You will find us on the 5th floor of Delta Chambers. That is at SCO 502, right across from the bus stand here in Jalalndhar. Being near the bus stand means it is always loud outside, with horns honking and people everywhere. It is a busy part of the city. We share some space for Essar Steel Ltd. in the building where the ICICI Bank is. It is more of an office setup than a heavy yard, so we do a lot of the paperwork and coordination from here. The elevators can be a bit slow some days, but we do not mind the wait. We spend most of our time on the phones or looking at spreadsheets. It is about keeping the logistics side of the steel business running. Jalalndhar is a good place to be for this kind of work. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a lot of tea throughout the day. We are not trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby. It is a functional space for functional people. Most of us have been working in this industry for years. We know the ins and outs of the schedules. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. It is a straightforward operation. We handle the orders, manage the accounts, and keep things moving. That is the long and short of it for us.
