Our place is over at Gali Number 3 in Jiwan Nagar. If you’re coming down Wazirpur Road, you have to look out for the turn-off. We are at number 90. It’s a pretty standard industrial-style setup in this part of town. At Ess Bee Controls Pvt.Ltd., we work on control systems and electrical panels, mostly. It’s a lot of technical work, but we try to keep things grounded. The workshop is usually a bit messy with wires and components everywhere, but that’s how we know we’re actually getting things built. The street outside can get a bit dusty, and parking is always a struggle, like most places in Delhi. We have been here for a good while, so the locals and the delivery drivers know where to find us. It’s not a corporate office with carpets and air conditioning everywhere. We spend most of our time on the shop floor or sitting at old desks checking diagrams. Sometimes parts are late or the power goes out, and we just deal with it as it comes. We have a handful of staff who have been with us for years. They know the routine and how we like things done. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations. We’d rather just show someone a piece of equipment we finished. It’s steady work and we keep ourselves busy. Usually, we take a break around noon and you can hear the sounds of other workshops nearby.
