Escorts Co.Ltd is situated in Sector-46 of Faridabad, specifically at House No-1160. It’s a residential-looking area but we have our office operations set up here. Faridabad is quite an industrial town, so there is always a sense of being surrounded by manufacturing and heavy work. Our house-turned-office is where we keep all the records and handle the administrative side of things. It’s a two-story building and we use most of the ground floor for our desks and filing cabinets. We’ve been here for years, so the paint is a bit faded and the furniture is definitely not new. There is a small garden out front that we try to keep neat, though the dust from the road makes it hard. We have a few staff members who come in every morning on their scooters. We deal with various company matters, and it involves a lot of paperwork and phone calls. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We don't have a canteen, so everyone brings their own tiffin or goes out to the local market. It’s a very grounded way of doing business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy skyscraper. We just focus on our daily tasks and making sure the accounts and orders are in order. It’s a familiar routine for all of us and we usually finish up by the time the sun starts to set.
