Dr. P. N. Pandita Clinic

The clinic is located at No. 572/21 B in the Nit area. It is a small space, but it has everything we need to do our work. Dr. P. N. Pandita is usually back in the consultation room while one of us sits at the small desk near the door to handle the registration. It can feel a bit small when more than three or four people are waiting at once, so sometimes people just stand outside for a bit of air. The walls are painted a plain color and we have an old clock that makes a loud ticking sound when the room goes quiet between patients. Most of the people who come to see us live right here in the neighborhood. They usually just walk over from their houses or get dropped off by a relative. We don't have a huge staff, just a couple of people to help with the paperwork and keeping the place clean. The metal filing cabinet in the corner is getting a bit old and the drawers stick sometimes if you pull too hard. It’s a simple setup without any bells or whistles. We open the doors in the morning, sweep the front step, and wait for the first person to show up. There isn't much to say about how it looks because we haven't changed the furniture in years. We just stay busy with the patients and then lock up the gate when evening rolls around.
