Dr. M. L. Gupta Memorial Centre

We have been here on B. P. Railway Road for a pretty long time now. The place is known as Dr. M. L. Gupta Memorial Centre, named for a doctor who really mattered to the people in this part of town. We see a whole lot of different patients every single day. It gets quite busy here, especially in the early morning hours when the sun is coming up and people start gathered outside 5/e/4. The building itself isn't exactly brand new or anything like that, but it does the job for what we need. We mostly deal with families from right around the neighborhood who have been coming to see us for many years. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit too crowded and the ceiling fans make a lot of noise, but that’s just how things go in a busy clinic. We try our best to keep the line moving so nobody is stuck sitting there all day. It involves a lot of paperwork and checking through old charts to make sure everything is in the right pile. The staff here knows most of the regular patients by their first names. We handle general checkups and the usual health issues that walk through the door. It’s not some fancy hospital with glass walls and art, just a solid place where local people come when they aren't feeling right. We focus on getting through the daily list of names. Some days are long, especially when the weather is bad and everyone has a cold. We stay open and do the job.
