Deepanshi Water Supplier

We operate out of Gali Number 3 in Nagla Gujran. It’s over in Faridabad City. Our main work is supplying water to the people living around here. We have the tankers and the drums ready. It’s a basic business. We wake up early to get the first loads out before the traffic gets bad. Some days the demand is really high, especially in the summer months when the taps go dry. We try to reach everyone, but sometimes the narrow lanes make it tricky to move the vehicles. We’ve lived here a long time, so we know every turn in the gali. People just shout out or call when they see the truck coming. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and dragging hoses around. We get wet and tired, but the work needs doing. There isn't any fancy office work here. It’s all out on the street or in the yard. We just focus on keeping the water moving to the houses that need it. It’s a simple life and we are used to the routine by now. We just keep the trucks maintained and show up when we are supposed to. Sometimes the pump fails and it's a mess to fix, but we deal with it. It’s just a neighborhood job and we’ve been doing it for years. We don't mind the noise or the heat, we just get on with it every single day until it gets dark.
