Deepak Para Medical

Operating a medical shop like Deepak Para Medical means you see people at all hours, usually when they are not feeling their best. We are located in Sector 21 D of Faridabad, right near the Police Chowki in Indira Enclave. It’s a landmark that everyone knows, so people find us easily. The shop is mostly white and bright inside, with rows and rows of medicine strips and bottles. I spend a lot of time reading prescriptions and making sure I have grabbed the right box from the shelf. It is a lot of responsibility, so I have to stay focused even when I am tired. The police officers from the chowki often stop by for a bottle of water or some glucose powder when it is hot outside. Faridabad can be quite dusty, so I am always wiping down the glass counters so people can see what is inside. We have a small fridge for the injections and syrups that need to stay cold, and I check the temperature every morning. It is not a big place, but it is packed with everything from bandages to specialized medicines. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions since we are right near the station. We just do our work and keep the shop open for whoever needs us. It is a steady way of life and we have become part of the neighborhood over the years.
