We've been at House No. 1475 in Sector 29 for a while now. Decent Machinery isn't a fancy place with a big glass front or anything like that. It’s more of a workshop where we keep busy with the machines. Most days, you’ll find us in the back working on whatever order came in that morning. We started small, just a couple of guys who knew how to fix things and make parts that actually fit. It’s loud sometimes, and there is always a bit of grease around, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. People in the neighborhood know where we are if they need something made or a part replaced. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork if we can help it. We'd rather be on the floor seeing to the equipment. If you walk past Sector 29, you might hear the noise from the shop. It’s not a quiet job, but it’s what we do every day. We keep our tools sharp and our benches cluttered with projects. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because of a stubborn bolt or a part that isn't sitting right, but we stay until it’s sorted. We don't have a big sales team or a receptionist. Usually, whoever isn't holding a tool at that moment is the one who answers the door. It works for us.
