Dashmesh Pagree House

The shop is located at 1E/76 in the Nit area, which most locals know is quite busy during the afternoons. Dashmesh Pagree House has been here for a while now, and we mostly spend our mornings getting the shelves organized. It is not a very big space, but it fits everything we need. Most people come in looking for specific colors or styles of turbans, and we try to help them find what looks right. Sometimes the tea stall next door brings over a couple of cups while we are working. The street outside can get a bit loud with the traffic, but inside it is mostly quiet unless someone is asking about fabric lengths. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights like the malls. It is just a regular place where we keep the stock and talk to the people who stop by. Usually, the afternoon sun hits the front window, so we have to adjust the curtains. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, with new shops opening up nearby, but we are still here doing the same things every day. It is a simple routine of opening up, checking the inventory, and making sure everything is tidy. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing big advertisements. It’s mostly just us at the counter waiting for the next person to walk through the door.
