Daksh Architects

Daksh Architects is based out of 7D here in Faridabad. It is a straightforward operation. We do not have a big reception area or anyone to answer the phones with a script. Usually, whoever is closest to the desk just picks it up. We do a lot of work around Haryana, mostly helping people figure out how to use their land better. Architecture can be a bit of a headache with all the rules and the way costs keep going up, so we try to keep things grounded. We are not trying to win awards or get our names in magazines. We just want to make sure the walls are straight and the roof does not leak. The office is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints and measuring tapes lying around. We spend a lot of our time out at construction sites anyway, getting our shoes dusty and talking to the laborers. It is the only way to make sure things are actually being built the way we drew them. Sometimes we have to tell clients that their ideas will not work with their budget, which is not always fun but it is necessary. We have been at this for a while and we know how things work in this part of town. It is a local business, run by local people who understand the weather and the materials available here. We just show up every day and do the best work we can without making a big fuss about it.
