If you head down Dabua Pali Road, you will find Cosmos Auto Cast Pvt Ltd. We don't have a fancy house number or anything like that, just the road name because everyone around this industrial area knows exactly where we are located. It is a long stretch of road where we do a lot of casting work for the auto industry. The air often smells like metal and oil, which is pretty standard for a foundry or a casting shop like ours. We have a lot of heavy machinery running all day and the floor is usually covered in sand and bits of metal scraps. It is a loud place, so we often have to shout to be heard over the noise of the machines. Our workers have been with us for a long time and they really know the rhythm of the place. We are not the type of company to have a glossy brochure or a marketing team. We just focus on making the parts and getting them shipped out to the clients. The office is just a small, simple room off to the side where the phone rings and the invoices get typed up. It is often dusty and very basic. We get a lot of trucks coming in from the main road to pick up orders throughout the week. The weather out here can be tough, especially when the furnaces are running and it’s hot, but we just get on with it every day without complaining.
