K. G. Leathers

Our business is K. G. Leathers. We are based at Plot No-46 on Thiruneer Malai Road. This is over in Chrompet. Specifically, we are on 1/12 Sripuram 1st Street. It's a small place where we handle leather goods. The building has been there for quite some time. We have a few workers who come in every morning. We start by sorting the leather pieces. It’s a messy job sometimes. There’s always bits of leather on the floor. We use heavy machines to stitch the thicker parts. It gets loud when everyone is working at once. Chrompet is always crowded, so getting supplies in can be a bit of a hassle. We’ve been at this same spot on Sripuram 1st Street for years. We know all the shopkeepers nearby. K. G. Leathers doesn't have a big office. We just have a small corner with a table and a ledger book. We write everything down by hand. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. We don't spend money on advertising. People just know the address or see the sign on Thiruneer Malai Road. We just focus on getting the orders finished. Sometimes we work late on Saturdays to catch up. It’s just how it is. We try to do a decent job every day. The work is hard on the hands, but we are used to it now.
