Drishti Health Care is located down in the basement of 49 Block-3 in Charmwood. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is nice, though we have to keep the lights on all day to keep it bright enough for everyone to see. It’s not a flashy spot with big windows looking out onto the street. You have to walk down the stairs to find us. Charmwood is a nice area, and we have been in this block for quite a while now. We keep things pretty simple down here. There are some desks, some medical equipment, and a lot of filing cabinets. We aren't interested in looking like a high-tech lab from a movie. We are just a group of people working on health services for the community. Sometimes the delivery guys get a bit lost looking for the basement entrance, but once they find us, they remember for next time. The walls are a plain color and we’ve got a few old calendars hanging up. It’s a quiet place to work compared to the main road. We spend a lot of time on the computers and talking to people who come down to see us. It’s not a grand setup, but it’s our space and it works for what we do. We like the local feel of the block and the fact that we can just focus on the task at hand without too many distractions.
