Our place is tucked away in Mahavir Colony at M. C. F.- 218. We are right behind the Jain Vidya Mandir Public School in Ballabhgarh. It is a fairly quiet part of the neighborhood, which actually works out well for the kind of work we do here. We deal with Ayurvedic herbs and reading astrology charts. We have been at this specific address for quite a long time now. People usually come in when they are feeling a bit under the weather or if they want us to take a look at their stars for the coming month. The shop is filled with rows of glass jars containing different powders, dried roots, and leaves. It has a specific smell of incense and old herbs that hits you as soon as you walk in. We do not have a big fancy waiting room or modern office furniture. It is just a few wooden chairs and some very old books that have been passed down. My family has been looking at these charts for many years, so it is just something we have always done. Ballabhgarh is a loud and busy place, but this little corner of the colony stays calm enough for us to focus. We see a lot of neighbors and parents from the school stopping by. Sometimes we just end up chatting about the local news while we weigh out some herbs. It is a very traditional way to run a business in this part of town.
