Basic Knowledge

We are based in Ballabgarh, which is part of Faridabad in Haryana. It’s a sturdy, industrial kind of area. Basic Knowledge is the name we go by. We’ve got a small place here where we do our work. It’s not much to look at, just a regular brick building with a few rooms. We have some bookshelves and a couple of computers that have seen better days. The street outside is always busy with traffic and people going to the markets. It can get pretty loud during the day, so we usually have the radio playing in the background to drown it out. We aren't a big company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We focus on providing information and help to those who need it. It’s simple work, but it’s important to the people who come to us. We don't have a big sign or any flashing lights out front. Most people find us because someone told them we were here. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the local news during our breaks. The winters here can get quite cold, so we huddle around a small heater in the corner. We just try to be helpful and get through the day’s tasks. There’s no big secret to how we operate. We just show up and do our best with what we have in Ballabgarh.
