Balwani Auto Services is at Plot No RZ 132, A And B, Prajapati Colony, Binda Pur Road in Uttam Nagar. If you know this area, you know how the traffic can get. Our shop is right there in the middle of it all. We spend most of our time under cars or with our hands inside engines. There is always oil on the floor no matter how much we try to sweep it up. We have a lot of tools hanging on the walls and spare parts piled up in the back corner where it’s a bit dark. People bring their scooters and cars here when they start making strange noises. We just listen to the engine and try to figure out what is wrong. It is hard work and the summer heat makes the metal parts very hot to touch. Prajapati Colony is a busy spot and we see a lot of the same faces every week. We don't have a big waiting room or anything like that. People usually just stand around or sit on a plastic chair while we work. Binda Pur Road stays noisy with horns honking all day long. We just get used to it after a while. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a bolt is stuck or something is rusted through. That is just how fixing cars goes. We stay open until it gets dark and then we lock up for the night.
