Autoset Garage Equipment

We've been at Plot No- 22 in Mewla Maharajpur for a while now. The shop is right near the railway fatak, so we hear the trains coming through pretty often. It’s just how it is here. Autoset Garage Equipment is what the sign says out front. Most days it’s just us working through whatever comes in. The floor gets dusty and there’s usually a bit of oil around, but that’s a garage for you. Sometimes the traffic at the crossing gets backed up and people peek in while they’re waiting for the gates to go up. It’s a busy little spot. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk with some old papers and the tools we need to get things done. If you walk past the Mewla Maharajpur area, you’ll see us. It’s not hard to find if you know where the tracks are. We just open up in the morning and stay until the work is finished. It can get hot in the afternoons, especially with the sun hitting the front of the plot. We keep the doors open to get a bit of a breeze when we can. There’s always something to move or fix. It isn't glamorous work, but it fills the day. We’ve known the neighbors around here for a long time. It feels like a normal part of the neighborhood. Just a plain building where we do our thing every day near the fatak. We keep some tea in the back for when we have a minute to breathe.
