If you go to Market No-5 in NIT, Faridabad, you’ll find Arora Provision Store at Shop No- 85. This market is always moving, with people everywhere and cars trying to squeeze through the narrow lanes. Our shop is pretty much like the others around here—full of bags, boxes, and people asking for things all at once. We’ve been here long enough that the front step is worn down from all the walking. I spend most of my time counting out change or looking for that one specific item a customer remembers seeing last month. We don’t have a fancy layout or bright lights. It’s mostly just shelves packed to the ceiling. Sometimes it’s hard to find things if we haven't put them back in the right spot after a rush. Faridabad gets really hot, and the shop can feel a bit stuffy when it’s full of people, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We aren't a big supermarket chain, just a local provision store where we know the names of half the people who walk through the door. We deal with the usual problems like late deliveries or the power cutting out during a storm. It’s not a perfect setup, but it’s our business and we take care of it as well as we can. Every evening we sweep up, lock the shutters, and get ready to do it all again tomorrow.
