Archen Design Center

Up on the first floor of 330-B in Shastri Colony is where you’ll find us. We are right across from the Gurudwara in Faridabad Sector 19, so it’s a fairly easy landmark to spot. The Archen Design Center is basically just a few rooms filled with drafting tables and computers. We get a lot of natural light coming in, which helps when you’re looking at tiny details on a map or a plan. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s worth it for the quiet we get away from the street level. We’ve been in Faridabad for a long time and have seen the area change quite a bit. Our daily routine is mostly coffee, meetings, and a lot of drawing. We don’t really do the whole high-pressure sales thing. If someone walks in, we just talk to them like a neighbor. The office has that lived-in feel, with stacks of paper and maybe a few dusty models sitting on the shelves. It’s a place where work actually happens, not just a place to look professional. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when three deadlines hit at once, but we usually manage to stay on top of things. We like being in Sector 19 because it feels like a real community. You can hear the sounds from the Gurudwara during the day, which is actually quite nice while we’re working on designs.
