Apki Eyes

Apki Eyes is situated at House No.31, Street No. 2, in Roshan Nagar, Agwanpur. It’s a small place on a regular street where people are always passing by on their way to the main road. We spend our days looking at different frames, lenses, and testing equipment. It’s a job that requires a lot of patience because everyone’s eyes are different and people can be quite picky about how a pair of glasses looks on their face. The shop isn’t very large, so we have to be careful about where we put everything. We have displays for the frames along the walls and a small area in the back where we do the more technical work. Roshan Nagar is a tight-knit community, so we know a lot of the people who walk through our door by their first names. We don't try to sound like a big medical clinic. We are just a local spot where you can get your eyes checked and find something to help you see better. Sometimes we spend a long time just adjusting the nose pads on a pair of glasses until they feel just right. It’s a lot of small, detailed work. We enjoy the pace here in Agwanpur. It’s not too fast, and it gives us time to actually talk to the people who come in. It’s just us, some lenses, and the daily life on Street No. 2.
