Aneesha Clinic

The clinic is tucked away in Jawahar Colony, right near the Gurudwara. It’s a quiet enough area most days, though it picks up when there’s a local event happening nearby. I’ve been working out of this space for a while, and most of the folks who come in are people I see at the market or walking their kids to school. It’s a small operation, really. Just me and a bit of help to keep things tidy. Finding the place isn’t too hard if you know the Gurudwara landmark. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. I don’t go in for all those modern office decorations you see in the city. We have some chairs, a desk, and the basic medical stuff. Life here is mostly about listening to people’s complaints and trying to figure out the best way to help them feel better. Sometimes I’m here late because someone stopped by after work, and other times it’s slow enough that I can sit and have a cup of tea. It’s just a neighborhood clinic, nothing more and nothing less. I like the fact that I know almost everyone’s name who walks through the door. It makes the work feel a lot more personal than if I were in a big hospital somewhere. We just keep the door open for whoever needs us in the colony.
