If you find yourself near Nit, you’ll likely pass by our spot at 1-B/58. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the place looks it. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, we’re too busy keeping things moving to worry about that. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a place where things get sold and people talk. Usually, the morning starts with some tea and a look at what needs to go out today. We’ve got stacks of items here and there, and sometimes finding the exact thing takes a minute or two, but we get there in the end. The neighborhood is okay, a bit noisy during the day with all the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a few years. Most of the people who come in are regulars who know where the chairs are. We don't have a big receptionist desk or a cooling system that works perfectly all the time. It’s just us, some desks, and a lot of stock. When it rains, the sound on the roof is pretty loud, making it hard to hear on the phone. We just make do. That’s how it’s always been at Anand Sales. We stay until the work is finished, then lock up and head home like everyone else. It isn't complicated at all, and that's just the way we like to run our little shop.
