Our place is down in the Saroorpur Industrial Area, specifically at Plot No. 90 on Street No. 5/W. It’s quite a way out, and the roads around here can be pretty rough, especially after it rains. We spend our days inside the unit, which is basically a big open space for all our machines and materials. It’s not the most comfortable place, but it gets the job done. We usually have a radio playing somewhere in the background to keep things from being too quiet. The street itself is mostly other factories and warehouses, so there’s a lot of noise from loaders and engines throughout the day. We don’t really have a lot of walk-in visitors because of where we are located. Most of our work is just handling the production side of things. We have a small corner with a couple of chairs and a desk where we do the paperwork, but most of the time we are out on the floor. It’s a grit-and-grind type of atmosphere. We’ve been at this plot for a good stretch now and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building, like the leaky roof in the back corner. We just show up, do the work, and head home. It’s a straightforward operation without any bells or whistles. Saroorpur isn't fancy, but for a business like ours, it’s exactly where we need to be to stay busy.
