You can find us at No. 12/6 along Mathura Road in the Amarnagar area. Being on such a major road means there is always traffic and the sound of horns blowing outside our windows. It is a busy part of town and we have been part of it for a good while. Inside the building, it’s mostly the sound of sewing machines and people moving boxes around. We have a lot of stuff piled up in the corners because there never seems to be enough storage space for all the fabric rolls. The floor is concrete and we have to sweep it a few times a day because of all the threads and lint that fall off the machines. It is hard work and the days can be long, especially when we have a big deadline. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big reception area, just a door that leads straight into the workspace. Most of us have worked together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to know what needs to get done next. In the winter it gets a bit chilly in the mornings until the machines start running and heat the place up. We just keep our heads down and keep sewing until the job is finished. It’s a simple setup but it works for us and we keep busy every day of the week. We just try to get things done.
