You can find us right on Nh-2 in Village Seekri. We are directly across from Shri Balaji Dharamkanta, which is where all the big trucks stop to get weighed. Being on the highway means it's always noisy with the sound of horns and engines, but we’ve gotten used to it. At Alumex International, we spend most of our time dealing with aluminum sections and frames. The workshop gets quite loud when the saws are running, and there’s usually metal shavings on the floor that we have to sweep up every couple of hours. It’s a practical kind of job. We don’t wear suits or sit in air-conditioned offices all day. Usually, we’re out back checking the stock or talking to a driver about a delivery. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the morning, making the metal feel warm to the touch. We’ve been in Seekri for a good bit of time and know the other shop owners around here. It’s a tight-knit spot despite all the highway traffic passing by. Sometimes we forget to answer the phone right away if the machines are going, but we always get back to people. It’s just the way things are when you’re busy making things with your hands. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a steady one that does what it says. We keep a cooler of water by the door because of the dust.
