If you come down to Sector 24, you’ll find Aksar Wire Products Pvt. Ltd. at Plot No. 288. It’s a busy place with a lot of metal lying around. We spend most of our time dealing with wire and machines that never seem to stop humming. The floor is usually a bit dusty from all the production work. We have a small crew here. Most of us have been working together for years, so we don't really need to talk much to get things done. We just know who does what. The warehouse part of the building gets a little cramped when we have a big shipment coming in. Sometimes we have to move everything around just to find a specific roll of wire. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. The office is just a small corner with a few chairs and a computer that takes forever to start up in the morning. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the day's schedule to come through. Outside, the road gets pretty crowded with trucks during lunch hour. We try to get most of our loading done before that happens. It’s just regular factory life. Nothing too exciting happens, but we keep the wheels turning. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend half the day fixing them. That’s just part of the job.
