Ajay Mech is located at Plot E-18 in Sanjay Colony, which is over in Sector-23. It can be a bit of a maze trying to get back here if you do not know the turns and the local landmarks. We do a lot of mechanical work, mostly stuff that involves metal fabrication and various kinds of repairs. The workshop is a bit cluttered, but every single tool has its own place, even if it does not look that way to someone visiting for the first time. We have got a small team of guys who have been working with their hands for most of their lives. We do not go in for big mission statements or any of those corporate goals you hear about. Our only real goal is just to finish the job that is currently on the table so we can move on to the next one. The floor is made of solid concrete and it is very hard on the feet, so we all make sure to wear good boots. It is a pretty noisy environment with the welding machines and the grinding going on, but you eventually get used to the sound. We take on whatever work comes our way, from very small fixes to much larger projects that might take us a few weeks to complete. It is a practical business. We have stayed in Sanjay Colony because it is where we started and it works for us.
