If you find yourself in Dabua Colony, you’ll probably pass by Plot No. C-1024 without thinking much about it. We are right near K.D Senior Secondary School, so we get a lot of noise from the students when they finish their classes for the day. Our shop is filled with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, packed with all sorts of boxes. Half the time, the floor is covered in bubble wrap or cardboard because we’re constantly unpacking new stock that just arrived. It’s a bit of a maze in here, and honestly, if someone else tried to find a specific bolt, they’d probably get lost for an hour. We know where everything is, though. People come in looking for something very specific for their car or bike, and we spend a good amount of time digging through the back to find it. It gets dusty, and the light isn't the best in the corners, but that's just how a parts shop usually looks. We don't spend money on fancy displays or shiny floors because that doesn't help anyone fix their engine. Sometimes a customer comes in frustrated because their vehicle broke down, and we just try to find the right piece so they can get back on the road. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly just checking numbers on boxes and making sure the inventory is right. We just take it one customer at a time and keep the shelves full.
