Agrim Components Pvt. Ltd. sits at Plot No.111/A in the Dlf Industrial Estate, Phase-1. This area is usually packed with cars and bikes, so getting to the gate can be a bit of a chore some days. We deal with a lot of small parts and metal components. If you walk in, you will see rows of bins filled with little bits of steel and brass. The shop is organized but it is definitely a workspace. There are lathes running and the smell of cutting fluid is everywhere. We spend most of our time staring at calipers and micrometers to make sure everything is the right size. It is repetitive work but it has to be done carefully. The staff here has been around for years and we all just kind of know the routine. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a front desk person to greet you. You just walk in and find whoever isn't busy at a machine. The lighting in Phase-1 isn't always the best, so we have lots of extra lamps over the workbenches. It gets a bit noisy when everyone is working at once, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on getting the orders packed into boxes and loaded onto the small trucks that come through the estate every afternoon. It is a simple setup for people who like working with their hands.
