Aakriti Architects Landscape Consultants is based in Sector 5, at number 16 in Sharma Market. Being in a market area means there’s always something going on outside our windows. We hear the vendors and the cars all day long, but it’s a good kind of energy. Our office is a mix of architectural stuff and landscape plans, so there are usually a lot of drawings of trees and gardens lying around. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations because the plans themselves take up all the space. Sharma Market is a familiar spot for many people, and we like being part of the local scene here in Sector 5. We’re not a huge corporation with a bunch of different departments. We’re just a small team that handles everything from the first idea to the final check. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty because of the construction nearby, and we’re constantly cleaning off our drafting tables. We don't bother with polished speeches or trying to impress people with big words. We just talk about the dirt, the plants, and the structures we’re designing. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. It’s a busy, messy, and honest way to make a living, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We keep a few potted plants by the entrance that never seem to get enough water.
