A P Ent

We’ve been here at Plot 59 in SMIE Phase 2 for a while now. Faridabad gets pretty hot in the summer, but we keep the workshop running regardless. A P Ent is just what we call ourselves, but mostly it is just a few of us making sure things get done right. Sometimes the tea guy is late, and that’s the biggest drama of the morning. We spend most of our time looking at orders and checking the machines. It isn’t fancy. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but the work is steady. You know how it is in these industrial phases, everyone is busy with their own stuff. We don’t have a big front office with a receptionist. Usually, if someone comes by, they just walk right into the work area and find one of us. It gets a bit noisy during the peak hours when everything is switched on. We try to stay organized, but with so many parts and materials moving around, things get cluttered. My desk is always covered in papers and some old tools I forgot to put away. It’s a honest living, and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors around here pretty well. We see the same faces every day at the local snack stall. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we have to. It's more about the hands-on work here in Faridabad. We just keep our heads down and finish what needs finishing. That is about it really.
