A K Motors

If you head down to the Ballabhgarh Marble Market, you’ll find A K Motors near Pandit Place on Tigaon Road. Sector-2 is a busy part of town, especially with all the construction and marble being moved around, so our shop gets a lot of dust from the street. We’ve got a small space where we work on cars and bikes. It’s mostly mechanical stuff, nothing too fancy. You’ll usually see a car or two parked out front with the hood up and one of us leaning over the engine. My clothes are always stained with grease and old oil, and the floor isn't much better, but that’s how a real garage looks. We have a bunch of wrenches and jacks scattered around the place. We don't really do much advertising because most people just see us while they are out buying marble or driving down Tigaon Road. Sometimes we run out of a certain part and have to send someone on a scooter to go fetch it from a bigger supplier. It’s a lot of manual work and sweating under the sun. We have a small bench where customers can sit while we finish up, but mostly they just stand around and chat. It’s just a regular local garage. We don't have a website or any of that, just the sign out front and the work we do every day.
