Padmalaya Clinic

Our clinic is located right near the bus stand in Eradol. It’s a very busy spot because of all the buses coming and going at all hours. You can always hear the conductors shouting and the engines idling while we are working. It’s just the background noise of our day. Being near the bus stand means we get a lot of people who are just passing through town, as well as the locals who live here in Eradol. The clinic itself is quite simple. We have a small waiting area and a couple of rooms for seeing patients. It’s not a polished place with shiny floors. It’s a working clinic where we deal with everyday health issues. Sometimes travelers come in because they got sick on their journey, and other times it’s just the local shopkeepers from nearby. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate goals. We just show up every morning and see who needs help. The space is a bit cramped when it gets busy, but we make it work. Eradol is a small place, so news travels fast by word of mouth. We don't need to do much else. We just try to be helpful to whoever walks in the door, whether they are a regular or someone just getting off a bus. It’s a plain, straightforward life running a clinic in a place like this.
