About Shree Ganesh Furniture – Building & Construction Material in Faizabad
If you head down Dev Kali Road from Beni Ganj, you’ll find us right near the railway crossing. The sound of the trains passing by is something we’ve gotten used to over the years. It shakes the floor a little bit, but the furniture stays steady. We spend our days surrounded by wood shavings and the smell of polish. It’s a dusty job, but there is a kind of peace in it. We make chairs, tables, and cabinets for the families living around here. Most of the time, we are just working with our hands, trying to get the edges smooth. My brother handles the heavy lifting, and I do the finishing touches. People often stop by while they are waiting for the railway gate to open. They look at the pieces we’ve put out on the sidewalk. We don't have a showroom with bright lights. It’s just a workshop where things get built. Sometimes a piece takes longer than expected because the wood is stubborn. We don't rush it though. It’s better to get it right than to have someone bring it back a week later. The evening light is usually the best time to see the grain in the wood. By the time we close up, our clothes are covered in sawdust, but the work is finished. It is just how we do things every single day and we are quite content with that.
